McLeod was previously turned down by Brentford and failed to agree terms at Rotherham. Walsall have expressed a slight interest, but they have not seen him play. It makes you wonder how we came to pay so much money for him.
Rumours that Luke Varney might be returning to Charlton seem to have little foundation. It looks as if he might be heading for Bristol City.
